Path into software engineering
After completing land surveyor high school in 2009, I worked for a year. Computers had always fascinated me, and I grew strongly interested in programming - it started with games and later spread to computing in general.
In 2010 I passed the entry exam for FOI and began studying software engineering. The change of direction proved decisive: a profession that is challenging, flexible, and continuously growing.
Teaching while studying
From 2011 to 2015 I also worked at the faculty as a demonstrator and lecturer. Alongside that I gave private tutoring across several subjects; very likely well over 150 different students came to me for those sessions. See Experience for details on introductory programming and database courses.
